Somatic Therapy
for Individuals, Couples
& Families

Individuals

I support adolescent and adult individuals in exploring the obstacles and challenges that present in life such as anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, grief, chronic pain/illness, life transitions, and body challenges. I specialize in somatic therapy, bridging the connection between the body and mind with tools such as meditation, breath-work, and somatic experiencing. I also help clients with self-esteem/self-identity issues, relationship struggles, and parenting support/concerns.

In an individual session with me, you can expect a calm, present, and supportive space. My intention is to help my clients develop a healthy and strong sense of self, as well as an understanding of the feelings and emotions that may present within our sessions together.

Couples

I offer couples a safe, supportive and neutral environment to discuss the challenges and issues that arise during relationships. I offer couples a different perspective to explore problems, resolve conflicts and learn how to communicate in a way that promotes conversation vs. conflict. Utilizing evidence-based practices, I help couples:

  • build intimacy

  • improve physical connection

  • foster connection

  • strengthen friendship

  • recognize and change dysfunctional behaviors

  • improve communication

  • explore existing strengths within the relationship

Families

It is my belief that families have the potential to make an immense difference in the lives of its members. Each family has its own culture that is a complex blend of past generational influences combined with aspirations for hope and change. I help families identify negative patterns and address the problems they have utilizing a systemic perspective. Changes in one family member will directly benefit other members and the family as a whole. I offer a neutral environment that is both safe and supportive with the intention to help families strengthen their foundation while growing and building.

Family counseling can help:

  • improve communication

  • develop healthy boundaries

  • improve problem-solving skills

  • address dysfunctional patterns of interaction

  • improve dynamics of family relationships.
